Tiny Books
Remember these tiny books? It has been too long since I've made one so I got to work this weekend and finished a whole new batch of tiny book covers. Each little cover was painted by hand and no two are alike. As soon as I finish them they'll go into my shop.
There will be tiny books of birds, flowers & butterflies :)

Market Hopping in Mexico City
Manolo & I went on a market hopping adventure looking for Ceylon cinnamon. We came back home with bags full of fresh goodies.

At Dawn
I'm in completely love with the new studio Manolo built for me in our home and I could spend all day in there but at dawn... it really turns into a remarkable space with the golden light of the low sun streaming in.

Rubber Stamps!
I'm very excited to announce that I'm working on a line of stamps in collaboration with Magenta Style. Early next year you will be able to purchase rubber stamps with my artwork at select stores and directly from my shop :) I'll let you know as soon as they become available.

Lilies of the Valley
New stamp I carved to decorate my shop envelopes. I love how the black ink looks on the kraft stay-flats. Hope my lovely customers like them :)

Calixtlahuaca
This is the archaeological site of Calixtlahuaca. We had the whole area to ourselves yesterday morning, we only encountered three local women gathering wild capulin cherries and tejocotes. It was amazing to walk the trails from temple to temple teaming with colorful wild flowers, agaves and maize fields.

Glorious Creation
This morning we went on a short car ride to Calixtlahuaca and hiked up to the archaeological site. The whole area is really fascinating. This is a bit of what I saw. I'll post photos of the actual ruins tomorrow.
