I finally finished the blue vine above my studio window this morning!
I used blue acrylic paint with a round brush and a white pastel pencil to draw all the details. Next is the low window in our bedroom...

Back to School
I just enrolled in ceramics school this week and had my first class today! I feel like my arms are going to fall off! I did lots n' lots of kneading, I sat at the wheel for the first time in my life and learned how to center, cut and shape and loved every minute of it :) I also learned that a totally different set of skills is needed for this kind of craft, but most importantly I had fun learning something new. I'm excited to see where this will lead.

Terrariums Print
I made some real size "Terrariums" archival quality prints for my Etsy shop. I printed these on Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton paper that's 8" x 18"and it looks exactly like the original :) You can purchase them here. Oh! and I also brought back the ABC of Birds poster.

Tiny Books
Remember these tiny books? It has been too long since I've made one so I got to work this weekend and finished a whole new batch of tiny book covers. Each little cover was painted by hand and no two are alike. As soon as I finish them they'll go into my shop.
There will be tiny books of birds, flowers & butterflies :)

Market Hopping in Mexico City
Manolo & I went on a market hopping adventure looking for Ceylon cinnamon. We came back home with bags full of fresh goodies.
